I’m Kate Csák.

I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of living things—the way a light catches in an eye or the texture of a coat. I work primarily with colored pencils because I love the precision required to get every detail right. For me, art is about capturing the spirit of a subject and creating a piece that lasts.

I work from my home studio in Kingsville, usually with my rescue cats nearby. I know how much a pet can be the heart of a home, and I treat every portrait with the deep respect that family deserves.

I choose to work slowly and with intention, taking on a limited number of commissions each year so I can give every piece the focus it deserves. My goal is simple: to create a beautiful, lasting tribute that honors the bond you have with your favorite companion.
